"guard me while i prepare it." lady kang ordered her attendants.

"yes, my lady!" min ju replied as she took out her silver pomander.

"nothing shall come close to you!" elder hu said as his fists shone with a red light.

the two protected lady kang while she readied her skill.

lady kang created handseals as several stars formed from the stellar qi released by her.

if one counted them, they would realize that there were seventeen of them. the stars rose high above her as they began to transform into a large figure. "eighty eight constellation series- sixth form!" lady kang controlled the starts as the figure became clearer and clearer. "the draconian beast!" she uttered, as the figure fully formed.

looking at it one would feel fear. its eyes shone with stellar power while its wide maw gleamed with the hundreds of teeth that jutted out of it. its scales that were made out of pure stellar qi shone like the stars themselves while its muscular tail that could crush mountains within its grasp swayed side to side, as if waiting for a prey.

lin mu gazed at the beast, finding it to be a serpent in nature, having no limbs. but the aura he could feel from it was a lot stronger and also a bit familiar.

"a dragon?" qiulong jiao was astounded seeing the figure formed from stars. "such strong dragonic aura... almost as if a true dragon has appeared." he uttered in surprise.

hearing that, lin mu now understood why he had the familiar feeling. 'it is similar to the azure dragon guardian spirit i met before.' lin mu thought to himself. 'but his aura was a lot more contained, whereas this one is going wild.' once the constellation had fully manifested itself, lady kang merely had to execute the final handseal.

"end all foes!" lady kang ordered. "breath of draco!" ~roar~

in response, the constellation soared into the sky, flying towards the incoming chimeric beast swarm and opened its mouth wide. then with a roar, it let out a powerful breath that was like a gushing river of stars!

the constellation's breath quickly reached the chimeric beast swarm and overwhelmed it, destroying them upon contact. the figure managed to destroy over a million chimeric beasts with it, but this was just the start as it continued to fly.

it let out another breath and burned more of the chimeric beasts, going on a killing spree.

lin mu who saw all this was surprised at its power.

'a skill like this must not be easy to use.' he could tell as he gaze at lady kang. 'she's quickly getting exhausted.' he could sense the flow of qi around her and the link that connected her with the constellation.

such a thing was normally hidden, but with lin mu's spatial perception, there was no way he wouldn't be able to see the flow of qi channeling into the constellation.

the huiqing emperor was currently injured, but he was still doing his best to defend his empire.

"your majesty, you should rest. we'll handle this." a burly man with steel horns on his head spoke. this was none other than the steel horned general niu juo!

"nonsense! you think i'll hide while my empire is under attack!?" huiqing emperor scoffed. "if i am to die, i'll die with it!" he said out loud, bolstering the morale of the soldiers that were fighting.

in the holy topaz dynasty, the emperor huangyu stood in the sky as a hundred topaz gemstones floated around him.

"what did you do, yao changying!? you've doomed the entire world in your greed!" he couldn't help but curse his niece. "die!" he roared, causing the topaz gemstones to fly into the swarm of chimeric beasts before exploding.

but the explosion wasn't fiery hot. instead, the gemstones exploded into dust that covered the chimeric beasts. the chimeric beasts that came in contact with even the slightest amount of dust turned into yellow rocks, that glimmered in the light.

they had been turned into gemstones!

far to the south of the holy topaz capital, there stood a vast mountain range. in the middle of this mountain range, there existed an elegant palace that extended for nearly twenty kilometers in each direction.

this was none other than the blue mountain palace!

thousands of beasts cried as they fought against the invasion of the chimeric beasts under the guidance of their owners.

back in the dao wind empire, the emperor waved a fan, sending forth sharp gales that slaughtered all the chimeric beasts that were unfortunate enough to come in its path.

but despite this several beasts still managed to rain down attacks.

"hurricane covering parasol!" in response the emperor used another peak grade immortal tools protecting the city from the attacks. "have the heaven's forsaken us?" he wondered.
