"Desperado Barrel Dragon—effect activate! During the battle phase, flip three coins; destroy up to that many monsters!"

The revolver spun again. All three barrels had a 50% chance; even one hit could destroy Silent Magician. Unless you're Sartorius or Joey Wheeler, there's almost no way to miss it entirely.

"Flip set card—Trap Card 'Memory Loss'!" Kira revealed his back row. "When the opponent's face-up attack monster's effect activates, negate it and force it to defense position! Desperado Barrel Dragon's effect is negated!"

The spinning cylinder stalled, and the steel dragon sparked and staggered, clutching its head as if it had forgotten how to shoot.
