Chapter 13 Station Brawl, The Unlucky One
Chapter 13 Station Brawl, The Unlucky One
"Dry them to death!"
"You scum from the caravan! Get out of Goose City!"
Roars, howls, clanging metal, screams... all exploded in the open space in front of the train station in an instant!
The Black Dragon Gang and the Horse Caravan, two torrents of anger that had been building up for days, collided violently!
The scene instantly descended into chaos.
Dozens of strong men brandished sharp weapons and fought each other like primal wild beasts.
The dull thud of blades slicing through flesh, the crisp crack of bones breaking, the agonizing screams of the wounded, and the triumphant roars of the victors intertwined to create a cruel and bloody symphony.
A strong, pungent smell of blood quickly filled the air.
Huang Shujian mingled among the Black Dragon Gang members and did not rush to the front immediately.
He coldly observed his surroundings and found that most people were using cold weapons, while a few were unarmed.
As for guns, there wasn't a single one.
"It seems both sides are aware of the situation," Huang Shujian thought to himself.
"Territory disputes often involve armed clashes and bloodshed, but once firearms are used, the nature of the conflict changes."
"That would mean a complete breakdown in relations, a fight to the death, and might even attract the attention and intervention of the authorities."
"What's happening now is more like a struggle within the rules of the underworld."
As he was thinking, two men from the caravan, each carrying a machete and with fierce eyes, pounced on him from the left and right!
"oh."
Huang Shujian's eyes turned cold. Instead of dodging or avoiding, he went to meet him.
As a blade slashed from the left, he shifted his stance, dodging the blade, and simultaneously unleashed a powerful right punch like a cannonball, striking the opponent squarely in the chest!
"Snap!"
A faint sound of bones cracking could be heard.
The caravan man's eyes suddenly bulged out, and he staggered backward, knocking over two of his companions behind him. He spat out blood and foam from his mouth and collapsed to the ground, unable to get up.
The man on the right, whose swordsmanship was already worn out, was horrified to see his companion crippled in an instant, and his movements faltered.
Would Huang Shujian give him that chance?
His left arm shot out like a serpent, his five fingers like hooks, and he grabbed the opponent's wrist holding the knife and twisted it sharply!
"Ah!" the man screamed in pain, and the cleaver slipped from his hand.
Huang Shujian followed up with a vicious elbow strike, which landed heavily on his temple.
The man didn't even utter a sound; his eyes rolled back and he collapsed to the ground, twitching twice before falling silent.
Clean and efficient, resolved with two punches.
"This Mountain-Crushing Fist is enough to deal with these clueless lackeys," Huang Shujian said, flicking his wrist.
Just as he was looking for his next target, a tall figure, like an iron tower, parted the chaotic crowd and walked up to him.
The newcomer was a burly man in his early thirties, with a bare upper body and bulging muscles, and a conspicuous red cloth strip tied around his neck.
A jinx! Red Flower Double Sticks!
He carried a heavy ghost-head knife in his hand, which was quite similar in style to Huang Shujian's, but the blade was covered with dark red stains, whether from rust or dried blood, it was hard to tell.
The jinx grinned, revealing his smoke-stained teeth, and smirked as he looked Huang Shujian up and down.
"Hey kid."
"You're the new recruit in the Black Dragon Gang, the one with the Red Flower Double Staff?"
"Has Scarface Dragon lost his mind? Hiring some dim-witted good-for-nothing to fill a position? Your Black Dragon Gang is getting more and more useless!"
Looking at the burly man before him, Huang Shujian guessed that he had opened three orifices. Instead of being afraid, he laughed.
"Whether it's useless or not, you'll know once you try it!"
Huang Shujian spoke calmly. He had infiltrated the Black Dragon Gang precisely because he was waiting for an opponent who could bring pressure!
He casually drew his sword and scabbard, then slammed it into the hard ground beside him!
The blade sank half a foot into the ground and stood firmly.
Then, he assumed the starting stance of the "Crushing Mountain Fist".
"Oh? No knife, just fists?" The sneer in the jinx deepened. "Fine, I'll use my fists then, so you'll die knowing why!"
Before he could finish speaking, the jinx's large, fan-like hand brought up a gust of evil wind and grabbed directly at Huang Shujian's face!
This seemingly simple grab blocked Huang Shujian's space to dodge left and right. The fingertips were faintly black, indicating that he had practiced some kind of sinister skill.
Huang Shujian remained calm under pressure. He performed a backflip, rolled over, and then used the momentum to launch a counterattack.
At the same time, his right fist flew like an arrow, swiftly striking the exposed armpit opening of the jinx!
"Mountain-Crushing Fist - Cloud-Piercing Arrow!"
The jinx snorted coldly, his arm muscles bulged, and without dodging or avoiding, he took Huang Shujian's fist with his arm!
"Bang!"
A fist strikes muscle, producing a dull thud.
The jinx swayed and took two steps back, but Huang Shujian felt as if his fist had hit a block of iron covered with cowhide, solid and powerful.
"You've got some strength!"
The jinx grinned, his massive body lunging forward like a savage bear, his fists striking Huang Shujian's head and abdomen simultaneously, one from above and one from below!
The fist whistled through the air, its force heavy and powerful—it was his signature move, the Double Peaks Piercing Ears!
Huang Shujian's pupils contracted slightly. He stomped his feet repeatedly and retreated rapidly, crossing his arms to protect himself.
"boom!"
He slammed his fists hard into his crossed arms!
Huang Shujian felt his blood surging and a sweet taste in his throat.
He used the force to stagger back four or five steps, his chest heaving violently, before he could barely dissipate the impact and regain his footing.
A clear fist mark was now visible on his chest.
"Pah." Huang Shujian spat out a mouthful of bloody saliva and wiped his mouth.
"Haha! It really is just an empty shell!"
The jinx did not pursue; he stood still and drew his ghost-head dagger.
"It's just that I'm physically strong and have more strength than the average person."
"But this boxing technique... is sparse and ordinary, full of flaws!"
"I've killed at least eight or ten pieces of trash like you this month!"
He brandished the demon-headed knife in his hand, his eyes turning cruel:
"This is boring, I'm not playing with you anymore. I'd better send you down early, I still have to deal with other trash."
Huang Shujian slowly straightened up, looked at the arrogant jinx, and suddenly a strange smile appeared on his face.
"What a coincidence."
"I also think it's boring, I'm not playing anymore."
As soon as he finished speaking, Huang Shujian moved swiftly, rushing towards the sheathed longsword stuck in the ground beside him!
The jinx's eyes flashed with a fierce light, thinking that he was about to take out his knife. He immediately roared and his ghost-headed broadsword swept down towards Huang Shujian's neck with a fierce arc of light!
The blade was sharp and fierce, clearly using all its strength, aiming to cleave Huang Shujian in two with a single strike!
However, Huang Shujian's charge was just a feint!
Just before the blade was about to strike his body, he suddenly changed his stance, pivoting on his left foot and twisting backward!
Like a ghost, it narrowly avoided the falling blade, circling halfway around, and arrived at the side of the jinx!
At the same time, he reached out with his right hand and pulled out the long sword that was still in its sheath on the ground!
With the heavy scabbard, he swung it upwards sharply!
"Clang!"
The ear-piercing sound of metal clashing!
The scabbard precisely blocked the downward slash of the jinx's blade!
The burly man's sword missed its mark, and he was startled, about to draw his sword and change his attack.
Huang Shujian's right leg, however, sprang upwards like a fully charged spring!
A fierce high side kick, the toes like drills, aimed straight for the jinx's temple!
"snort!"
The jinx was experienced in combat and reacted extremely quickly. He suddenly turned his head to the other side, narrowly avoiding the fatal kick.
But as he turned his head, his gaze and attention inevitably shifted momentarily.
It's now!
A cold glint flashed in Huang Shujian's eyes!
