She looked coldly at Joanna Lawrence, her voice icy with a hint of viciousness. "Joanna, how did you know I live here? What are you doing here?"

Joanna stared at her calmly. "It seems I was right after all."

Annie didn’t understand. Her rage-filled eyes narrowed on Joanna. "Right about what? You didn’t answer my question. How did you know I live here? Did you investigate me?"

Joanna didn’t answer but glanced at Rose Liall standing next to Annie.

She smirked slightly, greeting Rose. "Mrs. Rose, long time no see."

Her greeting caused Rose’s expression to suddenly change.

At the same time, it also changed Annie’s expression.

Rose’s eyes held both anger and fear as she glanced at Joanna and said, somewhat flustered, "Joanna, I’ve left the Lawrence family. You took everything away from Annie and me. Are you here to make more trouble for us?"

Rose furrowed her brows. "Admit what? What have I admitted to?"

Joanna gave a slight smirk, then glanced at Annie. "Admitting that the person standing beside you is your daughter, Annie Lawrence."

The moment she said that, both Rose and Annie’s faces changed instantly.

Panic began to show on their faces.

"What nonsense are you talking about?" Rose refused to admit anything, acting both angry and flustered. "What have I admitted to? It’s all in your imagination. I haven’t admitted anything."

"Joanna, just say what you want to say directly. There’s no need to talk in riddles. Do you have a problem with your eyes? Don’t you know what Annie looks like?"

Annie, despite her surprise and panic, quickly regained her composure and said coldly to Joanna, "Joanna, are you having trouble with your vision? Take a good look at who I am. My name is Omega Huntley, not Annie Lawrence."

Joanna still looked calm. Her eyes met Annie’s obviously guilty and panicked gaze and said evenly, "Annie Lawrence, I have to admit, your face-changing surgery was quite successful. I can’t see a trace of your former appearance on your current face."
