Chapter 292 A Fun Trip to Hainan: A Warm Holiday for Business Elites
"Finally, it's vacation time!" Li Shiqing stood in front of the French windows, stretching lazily, sunlight streaming down her face, radiating contentment. As the marketing manager of a subsidiary of the Li Group, she had been incredibly busy lately and had been longing for a proper break.
At this moment, her husband Zhang Chen walked in with light steps, a mysterious smile on his face: "Wife, I have a surprise for you."
Li Shiqing turned around and raised an eyebrow: "Oh? What surprise? You didn't prepare another table full of documents for me, did you?" Zhang Chen has been busy with work lately, and he often jokes that he will "add extra food" for her, but in reality, he just wants to bring her some work materials.
Zhang Chen smiled and leaned closer, waving three plane tickets in his hand: "Ta-da! We're going to Hainan for a vacation, just the three of us, and we're leaving tomorrow!"
"Wow, really?" Li Shiqing's eyes lit up immediately, and she jumped up excitedly to hug Zhang Chen. "You understand me so well! I was just thinking of going to the beach to feel the breeze!"
Hearing this, Zhang Zirui, the son who was playing with toys nearby, immediately ran over and hugged his parents' legs: "I want to go too! I want to build sandcastles at the beach and eat coconuts!"
Zhang Chen picked Zhang Zirui up and said with a smile, "Of course I'll take you, you little rascal. This time, our whole family can relax and forget about work and worries!"
The next day, the family of three boarded a plane to Hainan. On the plane, Zhang Zirui was so excited that he couldn't sit still, looking at the white clouds outside the window one moment and curiously fiddling with the small tray table on the plane the next.
"Dad, how long will it take before we get to Hainan? I really want to go to the beach soon," Zhang Zirui asked, blinking his big eyes with anticipation.
Zhang Chen glanced at his watch and teased him, "Hmm... it's still several hours away. If you can take a nap, you might arrive as soon as you open your eyes."
"I can't sleep, I'm so excited!" Zhang Zirui said, bouncing around in his seat.
Li Shiqing smiled and patted his head: "Baby, sit still, or the flight attendant will come and scold you later."
Zhang Zirui reluctantly sat down, but his eyes kept darting around, full of curiosity about the upcoming journey.
Finally arriving in Hainan, the warm, humid sea breeze, carrying a faint scent of the sea, greeted them as soon as they stepped off the plane. Zhang Zirui took a deep breath: "Wow, the air here is so fresh! It's completely different from home!"
Zhang Chen, pulling his suitcase, said with a smile, "Of course! This is Hainan, full of beautiful scenery and delicious food. Let's go to the hotel to drop off our luggage first, and then head to the beach!"
Upon arriving at the hotel, after a quick freshening up, the family of three eagerly rushed to the beach. The golden sand shimmered in the sunlight, and the waves gently lapped against the shore, making a pleasant sound. Zhang Zirui excitedly took off his shoes and ran barefoot on the sand, shouting, "Mom and Dad, come and chase me!"
Li Shiqing and Zhang Chen followed behind, laughing, feeling the fine sand slip between their toes. Suddenly, Zhang Zirui stopped and squatted down: "Mom and Dad, look! There are so many little seashells here!"
Li Shiqing and Zhang Chen walked over and saw all sorts of colorful seashells scattered on the beach, which were very beautiful.
“Honey, pick a few you like, and we’ll take them home as souvenirs,” Li Shiqing said gently.
Zhang Zirui carefully selected the shells, muttering to himself, "This shell looks like a star, this one looks like a small fan..." Before long, he had picked out a small handful full of shells.
After playing for a while, the family lay on beach chairs, sipping sweet coconut juice. Zhang Chen looked at the sea and sighed, "It's been so long since I've relaxed like this. I'm so busy at the company every day, it's so much more pleasant to live like this."
Li Shiqing nodded in agreement: "Yes, the work pressure is usually high, so this trip was really worth it. But don't relax too much, there's still a ton of work waiting for us when we get back."
Zhang Chen waved his hand with a smile: "Oh, let's not think about work for now. It's a rare opportunity to get out and have fun, so let's enjoy this holiday. By the way, how about we go out for a seafood feast tonight?"
"Great! I want to eat big crabs!" Zhang Zirui perked up immediately when he heard there was something delicious to eat.
In the evening, the family went to a seafood stall by the sea. Zhang Chen ordered a table full of seafood, including crabs, shrimp, and shellfish. Zhang Zirui's eyes widened as he looked at the delicious food in front of him: "Wow, so much good food! I'm going to dig in!"
As he spoke, he reached out to grab a large crab, only to have his finger pinched by it: "Ouch, that hurts!"
Li Shiqing quickly helped him free his fingers from the crab claws, and said with a smile, "Little glutton, you're in such a hurry to eat a crab. Come on, let Mom teach you how to eat it."
Under Li Shiqing's guidance, Zhang Zirui finally managed to eat the crab meat, his face beaming with a satisfied smile: "It's so delicious! This is the best crab I've ever eaten!"
Looking at her son's adorable appearance, Zhang Chen couldn't help but laugh: "Look at you, you little glutton. Eat slowly, no one will take it from you."
After the meal, the family was all very full. Back at the hotel, Zhang Zirui was still too excited to sleep, and kept telling his parents about the fun he had at the beach that day.
"Mom and Dad, shall we go scuba diving tomorrow? I want to see the underwater world," Zhang Zirui said, lying on his bed with an expectant look on his face.
Li Shiqing hesitated for a moment: "Honey, diving is a bit dangerous. You're still young. How about we try something else?"
Zhang Chen, however, became interested: "It's okay, honey, there's a coach with him. I think we can let the kid try it out; maybe he'll like it."
Li Shiqing thought for a moment and finally nodded: "Okay, but you must listen to the coach tomorrow and not run around."
"Okay, I promise I'll be good!" Zhang Zirui happily rolled over on the bed.
The next morning, the family arrived at the diving center early. Zhang Zirui put on his wetsuit and goggles, looking like a little diver.
The instructor came over and patiently explained the precautions for diving to them: "When diving, pay attention to your breathing rhythm and don't be nervous..."
Zhang Zirui listened attentively, nodding as he said, "Coach Uncle, I've got it! I definitely won't be scared!"
Once in the water, Zhang Zirui followed closely behind the instructor, his eyes curiously observing the underwater world around him. Colorful corals and all sorts of small fish swam around them, and Zhang Zirui was so excited he wanted to scream, but unfortunately, he couldn't make a sound underwater.
Li Shiqing and Zhang Chen followed behind, feeling very content seeing their son's happy expression. After the dive, Zhang Zirui excitedly exclaimed as soon as he came ashore, "Mom and Dad, that was so much fun! I saw so many beautiful fish and corals, it was like being in a fairytale!"
Zhang Chen smiled and patted his head: "How was it? It wasn't a wasted trip, was it? If you have the chance, we'll come back to scuba dive again."
Over the next few days, the family visited the rainforest and a local folk village, filling each place with laughter. In the rainforest, Zhang Zirui saw all sorts of unique plants and even had his snacks snatched away by a little monkey, making everyone laugh.
"This little monkey is so naughty, it actually stole my food!" Zhang Zirui said, pretending to be angry.
Li Shiqing smiled and comforted him, "It's okay, the little monkey probably thinks the snacks in your hand smell too good. Let's go buy some other delicious treats."
At the folk village, they watched a wonderful folk performance and learned to make traditional handicrafts from the locals. Zhang Zirui learned very well and proudly said that he would take his handicrafts back to give to his friends.
Happy times always pass quickly, and the holiday was coming to an end in the blink of an eye. On the return flight, Zhang Zirui leaned against Li Shiqing's chest and said with some reluctance, "Mom and Dad, I don't want to go home. I want to stay here and play some more."
Li Shiqing gently stroked his hair: "Baby, we'll come again next time. And there are lots of fun things waiting for us when we get home."
Zhang Chen smiled and said, "Yes, we had such a great time this trip. When we get back, we need to work even harder so that we'll have more opportunities to travel in the future."
Zhang Zirui nodded: "Okay, then I'll study hard when I get back, and when I grow up I'll earn lots and lots of money to take my parents to more fun places!"
Looking at their understanding son, Li Shiqing and Zhang Chen exchanged a warm smile. This trip to Hainan not only allowed them to relax but also strengthened the bond between their family members. Although they will soon return to their busy work and lives, these wonderful memories will forever remain in their hearts, becoming a driving force for their future.
