Coming to the riverside, Yuuki observed the fish in the water. After spotting a fish near the bank, he raised his mop handle—

With a loud sound, like a depth charge explosion, a splash of water erupted. The nearby students were all startled by the sudden boom, and the fish in the river scattered frantically.

"What was that?! What exploded?!"

Many students were frightened—that loud noise was very similar to an explosion.

But when they looked towards where the sound came from, they saw Yuuki holding a fish in one hand and a mop handle in the other.

Yuuki couldn't be bothered with using a fishing rod, nor did he want to try scooping up fish, so he just improvised and clubbed a fish—yes, literally.
