Chapter 544: Human Psychology
Chapter 544: Human Psychology
The leader looked up at me, his eyes pleading.
"Please, not like this. We’re not animals to be slaughtered for your amusement!"@@@@
"Animals? Please don’t compare yourself to them; you’ll give them a bad name," I replied, my tone devoid of any pity.
The other thugs recoiled at my words, a mix of shock and horror on their faces.
The lanky guy with the scar across his cheek looked down, his hands trembling. It dawned on them that I saw them as far beneath even animals, and this realization struck hard.
If a dog bit me, I might forgive it, understanding that animals acted on instinct and limited intelligence.
But humans, unlike animals, had no such excuse. They made their own choices, driven by their own will.
The distinction was brutal and clear: their actions and decisions were entirely their own, with no room for excuses.
Besides, they couldn’t really play the "poor" card with me. Their expensive-looking clothes and flashy accessories made it clear that they weren’t struggling financially.
Well, it wasn’t like I would changed my mind if they were dressed in rugged and dirty clothing either way. Their appearance didn’t change the reality of their actions.
The burly man with the shaved head was the first to break the silence.
"I’ll go through the door," he murmured, his voice barely audible. He took the first step forward, glancing back at his comrades, who were still paralyzed with doubts.
They might be thugs and a pest to society, but they were still humans with some semblance of morality. It was hard for them to sacrifice their own loved ones, even if they were driven by fear or desperation.
That’s why it’s my job to lead them further astray.
"Nice choice, that’s the spirit! Who cares about your family’s lives, right? As long as you’re alive, everything is fine," I chuckled, sounding like a salesman trying to convince him to buy something he’d regret later.
"And what about the rest of you?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
Some of the thugs started to murmur among themselves, a few glancing at the iron maiden with terror.
They thought they had chosen life, but in reality, they had chosen a fate far worse than death. Behind that door, they would be trapped in eternal limbo, suffering for all eternity.
They won’t die or anything like that. They’ll just be stucked in eternal darkness, and no matter what happens, they’ll never be given the release of death.
As for their families, well, I wasn’t going to go out of my way to kill innocent civilians.
I had other more important things to attend to , so with that I teleported and directly stood on my office as if all those drama never happened in the first place.
"Darling !" Elaine burst through the door after seeing me , and not just her , almost all the important women in my harem came and they droved in numbers.
To ensure the place wasn’t overcrowded, I snapped my fingers and froze everyone in place.
"Don’t get too excited," I said with a laugh, teasing them. "This building might collapse with all that running around."
Then, with another snap of my fingers, I teleported everyone to the function hall. Having so many women was impressive on its own, but needing a function hall for them was on another level.
The funny part was that this wasn’t my complete set yet. There were still girls missing from my collection.
I took my seat on the stage.
"I’m sure everyone of you knows by now that your husband is now the god of this world. Feel free to take pictures and brag on social media that you’re one of my lovers. Go on, don’t be shy," I said as a joke.
To my amusement, everyone eagerly followed my instructions.
And in an instant the whole social media flatform had been lively as everyone started liking the picture, they grow in tens of thousands every seconds , and it kept increasing . Around the world , more and more women started posting .

All true, of course, except for the last part. I posted that trend myself.
