Chapter 246 Activation
Chapter 246 Activation
Anthony activated his shadow step as the darkness from the ground warped, white flames falling directly onto him. Behind him, Angela emerged, swinging her sword to intercept Anthony's dark blade. Two waves of energy flew out in opposite directions. Angela's wings expanded and gleamed, feathers emerging from them, turning into projectiles that traveled at maximum speed.
Anthony's pupils dilated as he moved his hands and darkness flowed from his body like water. Immense pressure filled the area, and the sunlight wavered slightly. Anthony's sword began to glow and pulse, while the white feathers shot out lost speed as the darkness from the ground rose like a wall.
Anthony wielded his sword and tried to defend himself. He gritted his teeth and felt some superficial cuts on his flesh, but the worst part was the white flames attempting to engulf him whole with a single cut. Mana surged through his veins, seeping out of his pores and creating a dark, brilliant flame around him.
Angela flapped her wings upward, her body starting to glow as sunlight fixed on her. With surprising speed, she flew forward, so fast that even Anthony had no time to react. His body was sent flying again as Angela swiftly pursued. Frowning, black tentacles emerged from the ground. The young woman, indifferent, raised her hands, and pillars of white flames quickly consumed them. Stay connected through My Virtual Library Empire
Hundreds of piles of flames trailed behind Anthony.
Gritting his teeth, his heart began to beat wildly. He felt his blood heating up, and consequently his entire body. His vision quickly blurred, and the darkness within his soul began to try to escape like a beast out of control, attempting to consume him. His body contorted, and the bones of his sword broke. A groan of pain escaped his mouth: "Why does it have to be so painful?" he thought internally.
The darkness reached his mind, and he felt how slowly his mind flooded with destructive thoughts, losing himself.
Edward's mana flooded the earth around him, and the earth began to move quickly as if it were water, further surrounding his body. Gripping his hammer tightly, his muscles contracted as he raised it towards the sky and then brought it down swiftly. Ezekiel clicked his tongue; his golden aura emerged from his body in heaps, and his hair and eyes turned golden.
His golden mana distorted and surrounded his lance, generating immense pressure over his head as he watched the hammer descending rapidly. He clenched his fists, and his reaction level was fast; he put the lance in defensive mode, and in milliseconds, the huge hammer struck against it.
Ezekiel felt his hands and bones slightly numb, and his blood began to flow through his body as he felt a warm liquid rising in his throat.
His eyes turned cold; he never imagined he possessed more brute strength than him. More aura came out of his body, and his bloodline activated. His eyes emitted a glow just like his body, and he felt his heart beating loudly. Above his head, a dark aura formed, very dark.
Four pairs of wings emerged from his sword: two white as day and two entirely black as night. His golden mana became slightly dark, and his eyes changed color: the right one was white, and the left one, black. He grew to two meters, and Edward felt cold all over his body. Ezekiel's presence changed completely; his four wings behind him expanded with a wingspan of almost 10 meters.
The skies darkened as clouds took their place. Daniela and Charlotte paused their fight as they watched with wide eyes Ezekiel's bloodline, of which they had little information. The halo above his head swayed irregularly, while his lance and mana changed color: golden, but this time with black spots all over his body.
Edward gripped the hammer tighter in his hands, Ezequiel's eyes were calm and serene, his four pairs of wings spread gloriously in the air, his aura filling the entire battlefield, but he frowned, elsewhere white and black flames rising in the sky prevented him from taking complete control.
He watched as darkness attempted to consume the light but always failed, and likewise the flames, but at one moment, the darkness completely engulfed Angela's flames.
